We provide maintenance services to all Electro-Mechanical equipments such as Turbines, Boiler and BOP during statuary/ shutdown. Our organization performs the following activities related to shutdown procedures:
- Collection of the required data for preparing shutdown procedures.
- Compilation of the required data from various sources like existing procedures, equipment tag lists and manuals.
- Feeding the data into a software tool.
- Based on data collected, maintenance policy and discussions with the client and client business plans, we prepare shutdown specifications for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation.
- Based on agreement with the client, we prepare turnaround schedule, equipment type wise.
- Turnaround procedures are reviewed and revised.
- We assign crafts, man-hour duration, spares and tools required for each shutdown procedure, based on the data gathered.
- While writing shutdown checks, we identify problematic equipment and shut down sensitive equipment. This is based on Functional and Equipment Criticality Analysis carried out.
- We outline shutdown network logic.
- ‘What-if’ scenarios and a turnaround library list of all the equipment, grouped by plant / unit / system / system group / maintainable group is also developed by us during the process.
- Safety and permit systems for each shutdown procedure are outlined by us.
- We outline the budget cost estimate per scenario, based on cost data compiled.
- A quality check is made on all the above activities.
- A Turnaround Report is finally compiled.

Engineering Consultancy
We provides engineering consultancy for all types of power plant be it Thermal, Solar, Hydro, Wind, Gas based. Scope of work includes preparation of feasibility report, selection of equipments, detailed engineering, DPR, consultancy for R&M, selection of fuel etc, for all type of power plants. We are having our own Design facility with experienced engineers for Detail engineering and to support customers for various design issues.

We maintain a corporate support team at our head office in order to assist & attend any technical emergency at site. Corporate support team comprises experts from various facets of power plants i.e. Turbine, Boiler, Instrumentation, Mechanical and Electrical.

Orbit Power System provides services like reconditioning and major overhauling of equipments like Turbines, Boilers of all the makes and can provide spares off self for some OEMs. The overhauling is done by well experienced engineers / experts of various fields and well trained technicians.

Company also provides engineering back up as well as execution of retrofitting jobs to enhance power of Turbine, Steam flow of Boiler, increase capacity of D. M. plants etc.
